  • Interesting News Feed: Your Perfect Wedding at McDonald's

    News from the Consumerist.

    (via The Consumerist)

McDonald's recent 2010 Monopoly game has become a recent craze with Americans over collectible properties and railroads. Even I, a lukewarm sometimes-McDonald's-customer, find myself ordering larger drinks to participate in the crazy Monopoly phenomena.

However, on the eastern side of the globe, McDonald's will now offer something even grander and more exciting than our Boardwalks and Reading Railroads. Why yes, you've guessed it: weddings.

McDonald's all over Hong Kong will offer wedding packages at an economical price of about $400. The wedding packages include a wedding ceremony, cake, and reception, all catering to a maximum number of 100 guests.

Because of McDonald's family-friendly image, the wedding packages won't offer alcoholic beverages- so guests will just have to make do with loads of soda and other harmless drinks.

The wedding packages will be available January, 2011. So if you are a McDonald's fan, have a fiance, and some airplane tickets to Hong Kong....why the heck not?

Weird Fact on Hong Kong's McDonald's Pending Wedding Package: McDonald's restaurants will still be publicly open for business regardless of the weddings. This means, regular customers can walk in and out as they please, even during the wedding ceremony.

    Questions for you all:

What do you think about a McDonald's wedding? What other fast food restaurants should offer weddings? Are you okay with strangers walking through your wedding? Are the wedding packages worth $400? Do you enjoy playing McDonald's Monopoly game?
