  • 25 Delicious Foods...That Are Bad For You. Typical.

Of course...the most delicious foods foods, the ones that taste so delectable, scrumptious and absolutely amazing.....are bad for you. Sorry. I truly am, because I want to be able to enjoy the greatness that is an unhealthy slab of food. But for all purposes I decided to list 25 of the worst, yet best, ones to eat. In no particular order, here we go chums.

    25. Pie
I think I may love pie more than cake. Just might. There are so many different flavors of pie, and it has that wonderful crust, I just can't get enough. Specifically of sweet potato pie. I'm sorry for all of you pumpkin pie lovers, but try a sweet potato pie and you'll join me on the dark side and abandon your precious pumpkin pie.

    24. French Fries
Nice and salty, french fries are easily a food I could eat every day. I just love them so much. Especially with some nice ketchup on the side. But only on the side, because if you leave ketchup on fries for too long they'll get all soggy. And we can't have that.

    23. Oreos
I sort of don't trust people when they tell me they don't like the following things: The Beatles and Oreos. Two things that are unequivocally grand. The best kinds of Oreos? Double stuffed, folks. It's double the creme. Actually I don't even really know what that creme is made out of. Probably sugar and happiness. Maybe a dash of laughter.

    22. Cupcakes
In the words of my boyfriend Joey, "Oh God I love cupcakes". And who doesn't? I mean it's the joy of cake in a small cup form, ie. the cupcake. And they're just so darn cute and wonderful. Just give me an assorted pile of cupcakes and I'm good for......ever.

    21. Soda
I'm a big fan of soda, I'll admit. I just love it. Specifically Dr. Pepper. I've tried to pinpoint the 23 flavors but I can really only taste about 3. Maybe four if it's a good day. But I've never really had a soda I didn't like. Except this one time I drank a Jones Soda that was bubble gum flavor. Nuff said.

    20. Pasta
Pasta in all of it's forms has to be one of my favorite foods. Pile it on with sauce and lots of cheese and I'm set to go. Whether it's penne, bowtie, spaghetti or linguine pasta is so just so wonderful I can't get enough.

    19. Garlic Bread
While we're on the topic of pasta let's discuss garlic bread briefly. I don't have it as often as I'd like but when I do it's always a happy day. Garlic is the greatest garnish EVER and when it's on top of something delicious as bread it's bound to be a winner.

    18. Milkshakes
I haven't had a good milkshake in a fortnight, which is honestly a shame because they are so wonderful! I could have a vanilla milkshake right now, in fact. Vanilla is such an underrated flavor because everybody thinks its just SO boring, but I happen to love it. Yay for vanilla!

    17. Bagels with cream cheese
There is nothing better than a freshly made bagel swimming with cream cheese. Personally I'm a cream cheese person and I could probably eat it right out of the carton, but I have to refrain from my urges. The best cream cheese? Vegetable. But it has to be a) fresh (not from a carton) and b) the vegetables have to be cut SUPER thin or else its just no good.

    16. Donuts
Come on now. Who wouldn't enjoy a fine fried pastry with an abundance of icing topped with sprinkles? It's an American favorite, compadres. Yay for donuts, they make people happy. And what's better than serving up happiness and joy?? Nothing, that's what.

    15. Fried Chicken
Oh boy, chicken. My friend Sarah is allergic to chicken and I sometimes wonder how she manages to do without the wonderful delight that is a nice piece of fried chicken. It's just so crispy and delicious and wonderful. Yay for fried chicken!

    14. Anything on the McDonald's menu
Ok we all know that McDonald's is bad for you, but oh so delicious. Joey enjoys eating a fine McChicken. Or maybe a fine Big Mac. I have to say that I have never eaten a hamburger from McDonald's which includes the illustrious Big Mac. I'll have to give it a try soon.

    13. Ice Cream
I think ice cream may be one of America's favorite meals. It just makes everybody happier, whether its soft serve or hard serve, ice cream is a joy. I wish I had a soft serve machine in my house. But to that degree I would also be about 30 pounds heavier, so it's sort of a win/lose situation.

    12. Nachos
Come on. Cheese, chips, maybe some meat and hot peppers? Sounds good to me. I haven't had nachos since my fall semester of freshman year, but I'll be sure to indulge once school starts up again. Nachos=most delicious.

    11. Profiteroles
Profiteroles are these little Italian desserts that are just so amazing. Sometimes they're filled with gelato, which of course makes them even better. Joey and I had a few the other day for dessert at this Italian restaurant and we were basically fighting over the last one. That's how delicious they are.

    10. Burgers
Basically if you combine a burger, french fries and a milkshake you are going to have quite the meal. It's such a classic but it is still one of the greatest flavor combinations out there. Here is a rule of thumb: Whenever you order a burger, cut it in half and give it a nice squeeze. If juice flows out of it, you've got yourself a winner. If not, it's probably been cooked too long. Medium/medium rare is a great way to cook a burger. Maybe medium, if you don't like it that pink but anything more than that just draws the flavor right out of the meat. So medium well/well done is well.......bad. Sorry.

    9. Grilled Cheese
I love grilled cheese. LOVE. I used to have a grilled cheese combo once a week at school until my friend alerted me that they have about 400 calories each. So I promptly stopped. But I miss the delicious taste of a grilled cheese with fries. YUM.

    8. Mixed Drinks
Fruity and delicious, yes. Full of calories, also yes. But what can you do, a nice fruity drink will do you good. Or perhaps a frozen drink like a daiquiri. An instant pick me up.

    7. Chocolate Cake
Chocolate cake is just one of those things that everybody needs to like in order to be a complete person. Even if it isn't your FAVORITE flavor of cake, you just kind of need to like it in order to be thought of as a sane human being. Chocolate=Win.

    6. Onion Rings
Onion rings ARE delicious, but only in one way. And just one. They have to be crispy on the outside and the onion has to be firm on the inside. This way when you bite the onion ring, the onion doesn't come slipping out. It's just one firm crunch. So good.

    5. Bacon
And on the topic of fried food that is only done one way, let's talk about bacon. Bacon is only good ONE way. ONE. It has to be crispy enough to be parallel to the floor. If your bacon is floppy, it isn't cooked enough. I'm sorry, but floppy, slimy bacon is just gross. Stay crispy, my friends.

    4. Pancakes
Yay for Ihop because pancakes are delightful. Whoever invented them was sure smart because they were a delicious idea. Basically it's dessert for breakfast, and there's nothing wrong with that.

    3. Fried Calamari
Oh boy I love fried calamari. Now the idea of eating squid may bother some people, but it's totally fine and dandy to me. The more the merrier! So bring on the squid.

    2. Cinnamon Buns
Cinnamon buns are such a joy. Imagine yourself now. It's the dead of winter and it's a blazing snow storm outside and someone has just brought you a warm cinnamon bun, dripping with icing and a cup of hot chocolate. Sounds like a perfect day to me.

    1. Frozen beverages from Starbucks
Yes I love Starbucks but all of those frozen Javachino type drinks are sugar mines! But who cares, right? They're most delicious. Java Chips all around!

What fatty foods do you like to eat? Which one of these 25 is your favorite?
