Cantaloupe Breakfast Bowl
This creation has been floating around the blog world for awhile now, but I finally got the chance to make it this morning. I cut a cantaloupe in half and made a bowl for myself and my fiance. He said they were really fun to eat and we already have plans to make more in the very near future. You basically can add whatever you like to these and I can’t wait to mix it up even more next time. This round we included:- Blueberry Siggi’s Yogurt
- Granola
- Glob of Peanut Butter
- Drizzle of Honey

We licked our bowls clean until there was barely anything left to eat. Next time I think I will add some coconut, more granola, and maybe even some bananas! It wasn’t as filling as I thought it would be. I am very content and would make sure to load this baby up if I were to eat it after a really long run!

Have you ever made a cantaloupe bowl? What did you put inside yours?

I have never seen a more erotic-looking cantaloupe.
I've done this before! :) I love it with cottage cheese, raisins or craisins, and some walnuts. :) (add some honey if the cantaloupe is bland)
Looks amazing! I loooove cantaloupe.
That looks amazing. I looove cantaloupe!
i like cantoloupe but this looks intimidating
I'm not sure I could finish all the cantaloupe. Oh I wanna add some berries. :)
It sounds like a great and yummy idea, but the fillings in the one above look sort of like what you scoop out of that hole :) (Which I find both fun and intriguing and slightly creepy and gross at the same time :D )
And now I wish I had some cantaloupe.
that looks freakin delicious! i gotta try that some time
good idea!!!
I can't wait to try that! Yum!
Oh. My.
I must have that.
Ahh, thanks for sharing!
I normally put a cantaloupe bowl with vanilla or coconut ice cream!!
sounds wonderful :)
It looks bad but tastes good. Some around Xanga would say that's a c**t.
Peanut butter and yogurt together? I don't think I'm cut out for THAT combo but it looks like a fun little dish.
That looks delicious...and seems easy enough!
That looks really good!

i don't think i could finish the whole cantaloupe, but this looks so good. i'm craving<3
When I went to Hawaii a few years ago, we had breakfast at this adorable outdoor cafe, and this is what I had. =] It was so good that I recreated it for my mom for Mother's Day. She absolutely loved it! I spruced it up by serving it with toast and jam and a bowl of fresh fruit. I love the idea of adding peanut butter!
oh my fuck, this looks good.
That's such a great idea! I've always just had it plain, but I'm excited to try this soon!
looks really delicious but too much cantaloupe in 1 sitting for me! lol
I do not like cantaloupe. I might try it with honeydew though.
