  • Music For The Soul....Food! What's Your Favorite Song About Food?

                                                                         
    I was listening to the radio the other day and the classic jam "Red,Red Wine" by UB40 was playing, shortly after "Peaches" by the Presidents of the United States of America was on. I thought maybe it was a special day on that radio station that they played songs about food or something? But it got me thinking...everyone eats, and we have all listened to music at some point in our lives, so food would be a great muse to write songs about! When you think about it, there are soooo many songs or lyrics written or inspired from food, whether it be good or bad. If I was a music artist... food would definitely be my inspiration for sure..hey even R.Kelly named his whole record "Chocolate Factory" (although I'm sure he isn't referring to that kind of chocolate).

    The ultimate and my favorite is definitely "Cheeseburgers In Paradise"- Jimmy Buffet, it makes me want to go straight to Applebees and order a nice juicy burger with an onion slice!

    • About Me: Hey! I'm Gilly... after graduating from college I packed up my bags and moved to Australia. Upon arrival I was prepared for the obligatory shrimp on the barbie and a Fosters beer but there was none in sight.
