
My bf is from NYC and I'm from Chicago so we both are... just a tad bit... pizza-crazed. It's generally on our food list once a week although I'm sure he's okay with eating it every day. (Oh, and despite me being from Chicago, I actually prefer thin-crust pizza. Sorry, Chicagoans, please don't kill me.)
That being said, he always gets the same topping on his pizza: pepperoni. I, on the other hand, like to mix things up a bit. Anything goes EXCEPT for olives and anchovies. Yikes. If I had to pick my favorite pizza toppings, I'd have to go with spicy Italian sausage and mushrooms.
Mmm... I think I'll have to pick some up later. What about you? What's your favorite pizza topping(s)?

pineapple is my downright fav. it gives pizza so much flavor.

Sometimes I like bbq chicken topping, when I get the creamy garlic or ranch based sauce instead of the tomato based variety.
There is nothing wrong with being from Chicago and liking thin-crust. I'm a Chicago area native and I enjoy both kinds! So no worries from me. :)
I tend to be pretty boring when it comes to my pizza toppings: I prefer cheese, cheese, and more cheese (what they allegedly call "plain" pizza in NYC and New Jersey). However, I do enjoy the sausage pizza at Pizzeria Uno (the original in downtown Chicago), and a pizza with ham and other toppings at Boston's Pizza. Yummmm!!!
On a side note, I used to work for an Ohio-based pizza chain called Donato's. I worked as a cashier, and the strangest, most disgusting pizza order I ever had to take was for a large thin crust with spinach, green peppers, and anchovies. Good lord, that thing stank to high heaven when it came out of the oven, but I watched the customer eat every single last bit! Blechhh.
Hot salami, mushrooms, olives, chilli flakes, oregano/basil. garlic sauce and lots of cheese. I miss my local pizza shop. =[

Cheeeese and basil. Meat wise I loovvvvvvve gyros pizza! (Being a chicagoan I will say it is ok to like thin crust pizza. I PREFER my deep dish any day, but I also like my thin crust pizza when I am on the run)

i really like thin crust extra cheese, but i also like pan crust and stuffed crust. but for toppings, i like beef and bacon, beef black olive and mushroom, pepperoni, bbq beef, beef black olive mushroom and tomato, black olive extra cheese and tomato, and chicken black olives tomatoes lettuce on top with extra cheese and with ranch for sauce instead of tomato sauce.
