  • Unfortunate Food Packaging

Have you ever gone into the grocery store, taken a look around, and settled into a nice hysteria after seeing some (in)genius label or packaging?  I have!  Sure, some of the stuff must be lost in translation, but other labels are just pure... well... unfortunate.

    Here are a few examples:

#1.  Creap - Creamy Powder:  To be honest, I still have no idea what this thing is.  I found it in the drinks aisle (along with instant coffee and bagged milk tea) so I assume it's something along the same lines.  All I can make out is that it's some sort of milky drink.  Maybe someone who can read Japanese can enlighten me?

#2.  Fart Juice Drink:  This incredibly green beverage hails from Poland and despite it's unfortunate name (which actually means "good luck" in Polish), is actually quite tasty.  It's light and sweet and popular with the Polish people.

#3.  Ayds-Appetite Suppressant Candy:  I see this thing like a bad joke.  Whoever came up with the name for this diet product was just really really insensitive and unwise.  Of course, the product was sold primarily in the 70s and 80s when HIV and AIDS-awareness wasn't so prevalent.  Sales fell as awareness grew and the product was totally taken off the shelves in the early 90s.

Have you seen some unfortunate food labels or packaging around?  Tell us about them!
