Daily Q: Where Is Your Favorite Outdoor Dining Spot?
I've been fortunate enough to have some great outdoor dining experiences, from picnics in a local park to plate lunches on a balcony in Hawaii. Nothing could beat the combination of fresh air and food, especially when the weather gets warmer. Even in North Carolina, there are a few spots that have some pretty little areas to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine and a good meal. But where can you find the best and most abundant outdoor dining?
Answer: New York! While it may not be the most scenic, I've always been a sucker for atmosphere, and NYC provides a lot of character for your dining entertainment. Here are the top 5 spots in the city, as listed by About.com:
- Sushi Samba, 87 7th Avenue South at Barrow St.
- Va Tutto!, 23 Cleveland Place
- Chelsea Brewing Company, Pier 59, 23rd St. and the Hudson River
- Blue Water Grill, 31 Union Square West at 16th St.
- Yaffa's, 353 Greenwich at Harrison Street
So when the temperature climbs back up this weekend, go check these places out! Tell me what you think.
Where do you go for al fresco dining?
