  • Get Grilling!

    As the weather gets nicer, there's only one thing I want to do: grill. Correction: there's only one thing I want to do, and that's eat grilled food. I don't actually know how to work the grill (it's on the life list though). And as a vegetarian, you would think my grilling choices would be somewhat limited. And you would be wrong.

    You can grill pretty much anything (DISCLAIMER: do not try to grill pretty much everything), so vegetarians really aren't at a loss when compared with their carnivorous counterparts. Some quick and easy favorites include:

    • pineapple rings
    • portobello mushrooms
    • sweet potatoes or yams
    • asparagus
    • corn on the cob
    • marinated tofu
    • apples

    And of course, there is always the veggie burger so you can appear to fit in with all your beef-loving friends. Get grilling!
