Most coffee or tea drinkers enjoy their caffeine bumps in a very specific way. I also have a theory that the way an individual takes their coffee or tea says a lot about their morning personality.
Those who drink their tea straight or coffee has a no nonsense morning personality. They need their caffeine fast with no frills. A person who likes a lot of sugar in their morning jolt has some trouble getting up and needs the extra sugar to wake them up. Even the fact that they prefer coffee over tea or vice versa says a lot about who they are as well!
So, how do you take your coffee or tea? Do you think it says something about your morning personality?

Aha you're dead on in the personality part for me. I drink coffee black specifically to wake me up and get the blood flowing so i can have a good workout. I havent put sugar or anything in my coffee or tea in over a year and i really dont miss it. I find sugary drinks disgusting.
I drink Diet Coke in the morning. What does that say about me?
I drink coffee with cream and sugar and tea black. Sometimes I like sugar in iced tea, though!
I only drink coffee a couple time a month, but I prefer it black with sugar.
And, of course, I like specialty coffee, but that's another whole story.
Two cream, two sugar. I used to do three sugar but I am trying to cut back to lose a bit of weight. :]
I drink water when I get up and that's mainly what I drink throughout the day as well.
I have herbal teas w/ stevia (herbal sweetener) and on occasion I pour a little milk in my hot tea.
I only have coffee when I'm staying up past my bedtime and need to make it home safely. When I do that I can't do it straight...has to be a Monster Mean Bean or some fancy french vanilla concoction.
I do all of this for my health and well being! I'm sure it does say something about my personality but I'm not sure exactly what that is.
mostly tea, with nothing added
Coffee with skim milk and nothing else. Iced tea no sugar. Yeah. I'm boring. lol But I like different tea leaves of course. I hate bottled tea and I hardly ever drink coffee to begin with. I'm more of a water person.
I take my coffee black. I think it says I know how to drink coffee the right way.
iced tea no sugar. strong vanilla coffee with tons of creamer and 2 packs of sugar.
Coffee with three packets of Splenda.
i either take my coffee black and plain or with splenda.
I don't think it really says anything about you personalty, its just a preference or a day-by-day choice, As for me, it depends; sometimes I'll take my coffee black and others times with milk, always with sugar though. And for tea, its same always just with the water and sometimes with sugar and other times without. So, it really just depends on what you are in the mood for that morning, evening or afternoon.
I just drink tea, with only milk. What does that say about my personality?
I drink Dilmah tea in the morning with 3/4 of a teaspoon of sugar and a bit of milk, but not enough to make it weak, just the right amount to get that perfect balance whilst still making sure it's a good strong brew. Wouldn't have it any other way. I don't drink coffee but have the odd chai latte when at a cafe.
I like my earl grey with between 2 and 4 teaspoons of sugar. When I drink coffee, because I'm allergic to milk, I put a lot of sugar so it doesn't taste so bitter.
coffee is coffee
it is the nectar of the godsi will take it in whatever form I canI like my coffee iced with milk or half& half and 2 teaspoons of sugar. Tea either just honey or milk half & half with 2 teaspoons of sugar.
Crappy weak coffee (like on airplanes): half a sugar.
Decent strong coffee: tiny bit of cream and only slightly more sugar.
Good strong coffee: black, usually.
Most tea: about a teaspoon of honey.
Chai: make it with milk, bit o' sugar.
Mint tea: one sugar.
i disagree on the idea of 'those who take it straight are all no-nonsense, need their caffeine quickly' concept - i take my coffee black, but only from specific places, because certain blends - often, starbucks' bold picks - are very enjoyable to me in their rich, earthy, natural flavors. and i don't really drink tea other than tazo refresh, which needs no sweetening.
tea with lots of sugar
for some reason i don't like the way it tastes with milk or honey.
tea with no add ons
cream, two sugars
Tea: Lightly brewed, straight.
Coffee: I don't drink often, but when I do, with milk and 2 sugars.
Hmm, I prefer tea over coffee, though I do enough a cup now and then. I
take it with little sugar and vanilla soymilk if not but I like it plain
with lemon whether hot or cold. ^^
