    Recipe: Simple Banana Bread



    Ingredients
    • 3 ripe bananas
    • 1/3 cup melted butter
    • 3/4 cup sugar
    • 1 egg
    • 1 tsp vanilla
    • 1 tsp cinnamon
    • 1 tsp baking soda
    • Pinch of salt
    • 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour

    Directions:


     
    1. In a large mixing bowl, mash the bananas.



    2.  Mix the melted butter into the mashed bananas.




    3.  Mix in the sugar, egg, and vanilla.



     
     4. Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt in a separate bowl; whisk together.  Slowly add dry mixture to banana mixture and mix well.
      


    5.  Pour the mixture into a buttered 4x8 inch loaf pan.  Bake for about 45 minutes to 1 hour at 350 F.



    6.  Cool on a rack and then remove from pan.

     

    7.  Slice and serve.
