It's-a Mario Cake!
I got an order from a man on Facebook for a cake with the mushroom guy from Mario Bros. (I don't play *lol*) sitting on Yoshi.
The final product wound up a little more complex because I added many things to the cake. Here are my additions which led to my fabulous Mario Cake.
The first layer of the cake...
My references-can you tell I've never actually played Mario before?
This is detail of the piranha plants.
I had to add a few layers of fondant icing over Yoshi, so he got really fat (OK-he turned into a dinosaur).
OK, so I added A LOT-but I think the customer liked it, he didn't complain!
