Boiled water: Boil water.
@arenadi@xanga - XD
@arenadi@xanga - "OMG I BURNED MY WATER!" =P
@just_the_average_jane@xanga - No kidding, I think I've burned my water before D: I don't know if it can be considered burning though, since there's no actual fire; but I've boiled water and forgot about it only to come back to a find a pan that's like, on the verge of melting.
@arenadi@xanga - I've definitely evaporated pots of water by accident before when I wander off and get distracted. =D
@just_the_average_jane@xanga - One night, when I was your age *whistle* >_> ...
...hanging out outside my friend's house, we were drinking late into the night (around 5am). When we finally left, he went back inside, decided he was hungry, and put a pot of water on the stove with a pack of ramen in it. However, as drunk people tend to do, he passed out. He didn't wake up until about 7 hours later.
When he woke up, he smelled smoke, so he ran downstairs to the kitchen, remembering he had made ramen the night before. But there was no fire. Thankfully, he turned off the heat; and took the pot to the trash can to dispose of the remains of the ramen. When he turned it upside down, he heard nothing come out. So he was like WTF? He turned it right back up, and there was no ramen in the pot either.
He looked back in the trash can, and there was nothing but black dust. He had reduced a block of ramen into pure carbon, hahaha.
ha cool
