Hey Foodies.
We wanted to extend a big thanks from all of us at IRLF for submitting so many great posts in recent weeks and months. We've featured a really great variety of recipes here and have had the chance to try many of them ourselves. Good stuff all around. If you haven't been submitting and would like to, you can do so here.
One quick note on getting your stuff published: When submitting a recipe, it is very important to include a picture. It's always nice to have a visual aid to reference when trying to follow a recipe. If you submit a recipe without a photo, we can always try to find something that looks similar, but we can't guarantee complete accuracy. So if you're making something at home that you'd like to share on IRLF, just snap a quick shot with your handheld camera or cell phone. It's a big help to your readers and will greatly increase your chances of being featured on the homepage.
Cheers!

I'm not photo expert but here are a couple of tips for photos: if you're using a point and shoot digital camera, use the macro option (the flower icon) for close up shots so that the photo is not blurry. And make sure you're in a well-lit place so that you don't need to use flash!
I'll def get a pic sent in with my next post. (:
