Coffee-drip, brewed,pressed or "innovative"?
Always amazed by Japanese innovation in almost... ...everything. Go figure.

That's kind of bizarre. I'm not even really sure what's going on here.
But Coffee: 100% Kona Peaberry; 2T of grounds to 6oz of filtered water. Any more, and you begin to extract the bad stuff. Water temp boiling, and then taken off to allow the water temp to drop to about 203-208F or so. Colder than this, and extraction isn't complete. Above 208, and you start getting bitter/ acidic compounds coming through significantly more.
French Press, or through a Gold drip filter.
Coffee tea -esqu :) cool. I still like my French press though... if anything less waste and I don't have to keep buying any type of filter like that (cause I make a lot of Coffee... heh)
It's... like, tea-coffee lol. I'll stick to my French press though, it's kind of magical :)
It's kind of like using a tea ball for tea leaves. I like it. :) I would use it, for sure!
I believe most Japanese prefer tea over coffee. It can be used as tea bag, I guess.
Hey that's cool, but quite a waste if you did it everyday.
weird
Okay, how exactly does this work?
As long as its hot, I don't care how its made. I usually doctor it up pretty well anyway.
Then again, I've only ever had brewed coffee. I've never had it any other way. Maybe, that's why I don't care. I might just not be aware of what I'm missing. :p
I love my French press. Best coffee ever! I use freshly ground Cafe Verona.
I don't know how I feel about the Japanese way. I don't even fancy tea bags when I do tea. Everything seems so much better when it isn't from a bag...
do it taste good?
strange.
