Italian spaghetti and fried eggs anyone? Credits to (for the photos above): http://londoneater.com/2008/10/04/spaghetti-and-fried-egg-ice-cream-at-ciao/ Sliced apricots with vanilla ice cream and cherries.
I forgot about taking a picture of the menu and we only had one ice cream between ourselves because it was god-damn muthafucking hugeeee. (the ones below are mine)
After eight, mint and choc chip ice cream I could practically hide behind this gigantic thing! The place is located behind Leicester Square, it's a great stop if you're coming in from Trafalgar square or the national gallery as its just round the corner. Ciao also offers you liqueur based ice creams, and for the more conventional ice cream fans, the usual banana splits and good old fruits.
Best thing is you wont be able to miss it, not with this baby screaming ice cream outside!
(look for Ciao on Charing Cross Road)

i was in england for 2 weeks, 10 days in london. i didn't find much good food in london, especially not these delicious desserts you've shown. i much preferred my own city's food. what are the best restaurants (besides jamie oliver's & gordon ramsey's)?
How much were they though? Last time I went to the Haagen Daas restaurant and it was soooo expensive T_T;;...like £5 for the cheapest ice cream >_<;.
Oh...my....God....yum....*drool*
Forget the ice cream...who's the girl? :P
IcE cReAm O_O Its looks Awesome!
I want those XD
@whoosh90@xanga - well to be fair, prices range from around 6GBP to about 9GBP for these babies, mainly cos they're not plain ole' vanilla and chocolate and have that quirky appeal, plus its gelato not quite your conventional ice cream
@a_drunken_cellist@xanga - and that would be me? lol
@liquid_s@xanga - mmm it would really depend what sorta cuisine you're looking for, to be fair, you'd probably find quite alot of good food for much cheaper prices if you look hard and well enough; i havent lived here long enough to suss all the places out d:
looks amazing *drool*
it looks so good.....
@FrosteChic@xanga - I know...it was a rhetorical question :]
I love after eights! :OOO
This makes me want to visit London just to eat at Ciao. I absolutely love ice cream... even though I really don't need those extra pounds. XD
