It's a strongly held belief of mine that Thanksgiving leftovers are better than the original meal itself. Removed of dinnertime formalities and awkward small talk with distant relatives, leftovers give us a chance to feast on autumn's delights on our own terms.
A favorite of mine is smashing together turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravy in a bowl, then sandwiching it between two reheated biscuits. It's as delicious as it is inelegant.
What are your favorite ways to eat Thanksgiving leftovers? If you've got a recipe that's more involved,
submit it here with a picture and we'll post it over the weekend.

Since we dont do Thanksgivings, I will share the food we have for Christmas Day, for 25 years we went up to my Nan's and Grandad's house, there were my two uncles and their wives and when my Great Nan was alive she died in 2009.
My Nan always used to take some vegetables, stuffing, sausages, ham and turkey for my Great Nan to take home to make an extra meal for her for Boxing Day.
Sometimes we got given some turkey and ham for sandwiches.
A turkey sandwich with cream cheese and some cranberry sauce is amazing. Try it. :)
@likenvrbefore@xanga - We think alike! That's my favorite too however the kids like it without the cream cheese, just turkey and some cranberry sauce.
My brother in law just makes a mash of his food at the table, so gross to look at. Eventually at some holiday I'm going to end up just asking if you'd like it in a blender and drink it, save himself some trouble and probably be way grosser though. I can't sit near him at holiday meals!
I think everyone should be allowed to eat their own food however they like, so I don't say anything, and I'm generally okay as long as I don't have to see it.
Leftover sandwiches - turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce and mayo! YUM!
i use my leftover mash potatoes and buttered corn to make crab croquettes--mashed taters + corn + canned crab meat + an egg or two, form in patties and pan fry = crab croquettes
just continue eating them...
