  • Report: Chocolate Milk May Reduce Inflammation

There's nothing we love more than hearing that something obviously bad for you has some previously unrealized health benefit. Even better when that something comes with a dose of nostalgia.

We're delighted to share with you, then, news of a new report in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition that suggests drinking milk flavored with cocoa might reduce inflammation, potentially lowering the risk of clogged arteries leading to heart attacks or strokes. The results are similar to recent findings

In an experiment conducted over two months in Barcelona, volunteers who drank chocolate-flavored skim milk twice a day had fewer markers of inflammation and higher levels of good cholesterol.

    Who wants a crazy straw?
