  • Click for Cookies!

Well, it's been a week, and the results are back from our first ever IRLF Cookie Bake-Off. While we know no one needs an excuse to bake cookies, we're nonetheless thrilled that several of you answered our call to share your most favoritest cookie recipes.

First up is osmundaregalis, who shared the recipe for the scrumptious-looking homemade milanos with pistachio and mint pictured above. We've never made our own milanos, a staple of late-night shopping trips, but we're certainly going to try now. Check out the recipe along with some great pictures here.

Bringing us not one, not two, but three cookie recipes was just_the_average_jane. After starting off with orange almond biscotti, she decided to make it an all-out baking binge and pull out classic chocolate chip cookies and raspberry shortbread nibblers for an encore. Bless us all.

Adding to the mix was fresia39, who made some delightful white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, which really can't disappoint. Check out the full recipe here.

Here at IRLF, we experimented a little with some healthy and filling banana oat cookies with dark chocolate, and were quite please with the results. These were great as a dessert and could easily double as an on-the-go breakfast option. Check out the full recipe here.

Finally, Chow puts down the spatula for this week and delves into the quandary the scientific community has struggled with for years: just how do you bake the perfect chocolate chip cookie? Find out here.

Thanks again to everyone who participated. Check back mid-day tomorrow for next week's IRLF cooking challenge, and always feel free to share your recipes with us.
