Conventional wisdom tells us it should be three square, but the way folks' schedules fall into place these days, the old standard just doesn't apply.
When I was in college, I like many would often have just one legitimate meal a day around dinner time and snack until I got there (after waking up late, of course). When I used to work as a newspaper reporter, my daily schedule was unpredictable, and I would often squeeze in meals whenever I could at odd hours. I now get by on more of a pattern, but typically split dinner into an early afternoon and then late-night snack.
How many meals do you eat a day?

2 to 3 meals. Dinner would be the biggest meal of the day.
@Agent_Spanky@xanga - Same
Usually 2, with snacks too.
Light but hearty breakfast lunch and dinner, with two snacks that hold me over. I feel great when I stick to it. :)
But sometimes I miss a snack due to a busy schedule, and then I eat a little bit more for my next meal.
Three.
One usually.
Two to three meals cuz I might not wake up early enough for breakfast. Even when I do I dont feel very hungry until around lunchtime. But if there's good food I'll eat it anyway!
Actual meals? Two. I usually just grab a piece of fruit and/or a granola bar before class (I have an 8am class), and then come home for lunch. I always eat some sort of dinner, but it's usually around 8 or 9pm because that's usually when the bf gets off work.
Two to three with some snacks in between. I eat more around lunchtime though as I don't like overeating in the morning or at night. Doesn't feel too good.
2 usually. I eat a granola bar for breakfast with water, and usually a sandwich with a soda and milk for lupper, and maybe a snack before bed, like a peice of ham or something.
1, its either lunch or dinner
snack a little bit as well
3/4
Usually breakfast and a big lunch, with a snack for dinner. But breakfast depends on if there's anything good around to eat for it.
I don't really eat actual 'meals' per se, but I do eat what a lot of my friends would call little snacks throughout the day. I typically have about 6-7 'snacks' a day though.
Usually about 5-6, sometimes 7.
Depends what you quantify as a "meal" though.

Since I entered college, I don't really eat full meals often. Usually, I just eat whenever I'm hungry and stop as soon as I'm not --so I generally end up eating...5-7 little meals, or thereabouts?
Around six.
Two breakfasts (one before I leave the house for school, then another when I get to school), two lunches (one at school, one homemade when I get home/at my boyfriend's house to hang out), and one dinner (my mum's cooking is splended), and then a midnight meal before I go to sleep. I feel bad for people who can't eat.
i never have time to with classes, so i just grab coffee.
and so i have one real meal, around dinner time.
usually one...if that.
0-2 normally 1
two, but if im in the mood for dinner, three with healthy snacks in between. sometimes i'll substitute dinner with fruit.
@MsKittyCatty@xanga - um thats not enough to sustain your body
@deprivation_now@xanga - That's a usual day- Monday through Friday. I usually go out quite a bit on weekends. =)
Well, what constitutes a meal? I eat whenever I'm hungry, and I get VERY hungry, so I'm almost always eating, almost constantly. So it's almost like a marathon of food for me.

with a snack i until then, and dinner is the one meal a day I'll eat, and sometimes it's not even that big.
