For this week's ingredient challenge, we asked you to come up with your best recipes employing kiwifruit. Participation was lighter than we hoped, but we've still got some greentastic kiwi delights to bring your way.
Chow went all out this week, making a pair stunning dishes with one of his favorite fruits. First he spices things up with
shark tacos topped with kiwi-mango tequila salsa, then cools down with a
kiwi champagne granita, a cool twist on a Sicilian favorite.
Here at IRLF, we decided to shake up our weekly brunch routine with
kiwi sourmilk waffles with a simple honey-ginger drizzle topped with fresh strawberry whipped cream. We complimented it with kiwi-infused mimosas.
Looking around the blogosphere, we found an interesting recipe for
chocolate kiwi tarts from Malaysian Delicacies. Priya's Easy N Tasty Recipes had a lovely sounding
kiwi 'n coconut milk pannacotta. We were also intrigued by this
salmon with kiwi sauce from Cooking With Amy, and we urge you to check out That British Woman's list of
51 kiwi recipes.
We'll be back tomorrow with our next ingredient of the week. In the meantime, feel free to
send your recipes of all varieties our way.

One of my life goals is to grow a kiwi-plant :D
Sigh. Why do we even do this?
Keep it coming though. I hope at some point, people will be interested.
Yum, I love kiwi. The picture looks a little odd though. Kiwi and shrimp tacos? Ehh...
@silentescape__x@xanga - and shark that makes the difference wonderful lol.
I would try one of these competitions but as a college student, with only a microwave and a fridge, my options are fairly limited.
