  • Fun Foods: Bunny In A Hole

Making a "bunny in a hole" is basically like making toast with an egg directly into the center of the bread. It's not my recipe or anything, but I figured a few foodies might know this recipe or want to give it a try.  It's a simple, but a cute idea. I made it this morning.

The necessary ingredients and materials are:

    • one piece of toast
    • one (chicken) egg
    • butter (or your preferred alternative)
    • a medium/small sized drinking cup
    • a medium sized frying pan (must be big enough to fit the toast)
    • some sort of cooking oil (canola or vegetable oil works)
    • spoons or some sort of utensils
    • soy sauce (entirely optional)
    Now, follow these easy steps:

    1) Start off with a piece of bread/toast preferably un-toasted.

Break it in half like this.

    ...and in half again.

The END...product>  a bunny in a hole... well I redesigned the bunny look if you don't mind. lol.

Bunny dunked in soy sauce (optional) lol.

So what do you foodies think of this 'bunny in a hole'? Have you heard of it before (I'm sure it's a common recipe)? If you haven't, are you going to try making this?
