That dish makes me smile. My dad would order it EVERY time we went to Luby's when I was growing up. So it makes me think of him anytime someone mentions it.

Depends on how it's made. If it's been boiled or overcooked (it's BEEF people, don't overcook it to shoe leather!) I won't touch it. If it hasn't been seasoned I'd like it less than I do when I use Seasoned salt and bacon grease to fry/broil it in.
If you like braunsweiger (aka liverwurst, liver sausage), you'd like my version of liver for dinner. If you don't, then you won't. Liver has a very distinct flavor. Like all things that are distinctive flavor, you either love it or hate it, not many on the in between areas.
