Now You Can Drink Blood Just Like Edward Cullen!

Great news for fans of HBO's drama True Blood and pretty much vampire fans everywhere (I'm looking at you, Twilight people!): HBO approved the manufacturing of a drink called Tru Blood that is inspired by what the vampires on True Blood drink when they aren't feasting on human blood.

According to a statement by HBO, the drink will have “a crisp, slightly tart and lightly sweet tang.” So, not exactly blood-y, per se, but it's still a drink made for the undead.

The drink will cost an outrageous $16 for a four pack, but fans are still pre-ordering the drink like crazy for its September release.

I'm sorry but this is the equivalent of guys buying Final Fantasy Potions Drinks.

@ordinary_gir1@xanga - How were they? I found them before but it was in those limited edition casings so it costed a bit more to just try. By the time my friend and I went back to get it, the store closed down. -__-" At least FF Potions aren't as creepy as fake blood.

they're jsut collector's items, i dont really think they actually DRINK it, it's like buying the comic-con exclusives like a darth vader toaster...

Oh, blasphemy! Surely, you could've attributed these to Bill or Eric or even poor dearly departed Eddie!! Not Edward!! Ugh, angsty, emo Edward has nothing on the TB vamps!!

I for one am excited about this product!! In fact, it will be one of my few purchases (a four pack for posterity, the rest to drink) that are made purely because I'm a fangbanger (at heart, anyway ). Everyone is allowed to indulge in some silly fantasy. Or at least the people who visit Comicons!!

Are you freaking stupid! Twilight is for emo little girls, True Blood is for adults how DARE you compare the two!

I look forward to buying a pack of this, maybe two or three to have some for the growing group of people that love True Blood.
