Salsa or Guacamole?
I am completely enamored with the cold but spicy flavor of salsa, but almost everyone I know is on Team Guacamole. What do you think: which dip makes a better mate for some chips?

I am of course ever the diplomat. I like a little bowl of salsa with a spoonfull of guacamole right in the center
For chips? Definitely salsa.
For other things it truly depends.

I actually prefer pico de gallo over salsa, though.
aghhh don't make me choose!!! i usually prefer guacamole but only if it's homemade...by me. otherwise, almost any salsa beats canned guacamole. yuck. i really, really love chunky, hot salsa though. either would be awesome.

GUACAMOLE.
If I had to choose, I'd say guacamole. There's only so much tartness of the tomatoes that I could handle. Guacamole on the other hand is plain smooth green fatty substance that is just about the healthest oil you could eat. Suprised they don't have an avacado oil or something. But I love both.

Both! I don't really like tomatoes, although I do like salsa, but I love avocados.
@InTheThin@xanga - I love pico de gallo too.
For the salsa vs. guac battle, I would go with guac. If we had a matchup between pico de gallo and guac, that would be a much harder pick for me.

Oddly I've never had any guacamole that I liked, but I like avocados quite a bit.I like both, as long as they aren't too spicy.
