Japanese Blue Beer
Japan invents the coolest products. And this one may top the list: colored beer.
Sure, Americans dump green dye into Budweiser every March 17th and call it amazing. But Japan's Abashiri Brewery actually brews beer in every hue of the rainbow.
Joining Red and Green, the "Okhotsk Blue" draft is made from water melted from icebergs and seaweed.
I'm a Newcastle girl, but I think I could be talked into trying some cerulean ale.
Would you try blue beer?

If I drank, hell yeah. :)
I bet blue beer would taste better. Hehehe
I would try it. :D At least it's not made by adding food coloring,eh?
Deffinately! Is this available stateside?
I'd like to try if I can find it in Canada.
mMmhh i loved colored drinks! so awesome..hehe
I tried that once, it wasn't bad.
Hmmmmmmm, as long as it doesn't change the taste of the beer, sure.
Gimme gimme gimme!
i like to try something new =)
HELLLLLL YEAH, My favorite color is blue and my alcohol of choice is beer!
I'd try it for sure! I wonder if it'll ever be imported, I'd love to review it!
Beer Reviews
Wow, that's pretty cool! I guess I'll try it when I get myself to Japan.
Give me a crate of that beer. Wait. Give me 2.
Okay, the Trek fan in me is going, "Romulan Ale -- Cool!" And I would be making "cool" at least a two-syllable word, the way Bob Eggleton does. I don't drink beer, though -- my preference is bourbon -- so I probably wouldn't try it.
I'll have to try it.
It looks delicious like a cocktail. I think I would try it just because it's blue, and then be disappointed to find that it's just beer (not a huge fan of beer...) But who knows. I hear Japanese beer is WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY better than American brews.
I love trying new beers. Looks cool!
I'll try anything once and do a write-up of it. However, I'm a HUGE beer snob, and if it doesn't have essential characteristics I look for (strong hop presence, balance, character), it doesn't make the grade.
Can't be any worse than American cat-piss beer, that's for damn sure.
... I don't drink.
I don't like most beer, but since this is blue, I want to try this xD
This is the same brewery that combined beer and milk to get "bilk"
