I don't think I've ever tried the Chinese pancake...
However I don't really like breakfast foods in general so American pancakes are gross to me.

They're very different, considering how one is sweet and the other is salty. I agree with Erika_Steele; American ones for breakfast, Chinese ones for lunch! Yum yum!
