How Do You Make Omelettes?
What ingredients do you use?
How do you cook it; for example, butter or oil?
Do you fold your omelette?

Ideally:
2 tsp oil heated in a skillet
2 eggs scrambled in a bowl with cayenne pepper, black pepper and a dash of salt
Pour eggs into hot oil and add:
-mini-cubed ham
-jalapenos
Flip egg, add more ham, shredded cheese to one half.
Fold in half and serve with hashbrowns.
Delish!
my planned omelettes always end up as scrambled eggs because i suck. :(
Well to be honest I don't like breakfast foods in general and eggs are one of the worst items for me. However I do eat them once in a while. I dip a piece of paper towel in olive oil and use it to coat the pan and then I crack the eggs, stir them, and let them cook. When I see that the bottom is getting solid but the top is still liquid I start putting in cheese and vegetables. I LOVE vegetables. I might put in ham if I'm in the mood for meat but I usually don't. Ham is gross. lol.
And then I fold it in half and its done. lol
my sister usually put some peppers and ham ^^
omg that looks so good!
i usually make my omelettes with whatever things i have leftover in my fridge!
I don't eat eggs :|
@MangoWOW@xanga - thats what i do! i like to fix my veggies in the pan before the eggs....i sort of sautee them all down but i dont use butter, i do onions and garlic and bell peppers (red and green!) and some times chop baby carrots or spinach or maybe jalapenos or the bf likes banana pepper rings.....pretty much whatever veggies happen to be in the fridge that looks good lol. so i do that then place in a bowl, then mix egg and caynne and black pepper and maybe a dash of salt and more than likely rotel in a mug (i usually do 2-3 egg whites) pour into the pan, when the bottom seems a little cooked but the top is still liquid i add the stuff then let it cook just a bit more, fold and flip, TA DA! Omelette!!
Something with mushrooms. :D Or cheese. Generally mushrooms though.
yumz. normally cooked using butter and add a little milk to the beaten eggs. i prefer scramble eggs .=)
@likenvrbefore@xanga - don't feel bad, mine do, too :)
as long as they taste good, who cares ;)
I like them best with just cheese, cooked in butter-- cooked soft to the point of runny. It sounds kinda gross, but I swear I do them really well!! XD
I don't like eggs, but asparagus and goat cheese omelettes are okay.
I love pepper and mixed shredded cheese in my omelettes, and I cook them in buttery sticks that are made out of vegetable oils. And I fold them however they are when they land on my plate! xD
If there are left over cooked veggies from dinner the night before - I cut em all up and stick em in there! So simple and super delicious!
fuck folding omelettes, i just throw a bunch of veggies and cheese with 4 egg whites & 1 whole egg and scramble it up. salt, pepper, & salsa always.
I love omelettes! I had ordered one with cheese and ham the last time I went out to eat, it was so delicious. They didn't have a choice with peppers, or I would've gotten that one. om nom nom.
