Colored Sushi Wraps
Bored with drab dark green sushi wraps made from dried seaweed? Frieda's food retailers wants to add some more color to your California roll.
The company makes colored sushi wraps that are made from soy and egg whites, and come in yellow, orange, green, and pink. And they're gluten free!
I think I've actually seen vegetarian sushi with a yellow wrapper. Also, for you hipster parents, this might be a good way to get your kids to try sushi.
Would you swath your Dragon Roll in pastels?

It reminds me of fruit roll-up or something. lol.
I don't see a problem trying it but I haven't grown bored of my dark-green seaweed just yet.
ewwwwww. well, meh but why the unnecessary food coloring?
Is it weird if I find those colorful sushi cute?
XD
Oh, I so would!! Makes me want to add sushi to my catering menu just to play with the wraps!!
oh cool!
Is it a color dye? It doesn't have as many vitamins as real seaweed.
hahaha... I love to eat sushi, but the colorful wraps don't help it look more appetizing to me. How about packin' in some more fish and yummy goodness instead!
I don't care about the colors--I love sushi :D
No matter how you dress it up, raw fish is still raw fish!
It kind of looks like rice krispies treats wrapped in fruit roll ups ... but hey, I'd try them anyway.
Ew. That dosen't look apatizing at all.
I'd prefer the dark one. [:>
It makes eating sushi so much more fun!
I'd love to try it. I'm wondering if it will affect the taste though...
Ehh it looks a little freakish. Plus, I don't think it'd taste too similar to nori.
looks childish and fun! hehe..
...no rice?
japanese supermarkets have colored sushi wrappers and their made from 100% soy but i've only seen it in yellow and green. not really sure about friedas wrappers cause i dont want artificial coloring or any food coloring for that matter=colorful tongues.
Rice wrapped in candy colored sushi wrappers? No --- that is so wrong. The Japanese will have a fit.
hahah wow. I lovee sushi (:
It'd be a great motivator if you were trying to get your kids to eat it. I'm still happy with the dark green wraps, though.
i like my seaweed wraps! lol they're cute, but how does soy affect the taste?! i guess for catering events colored wraps may be cute/creative, but i like my dark green seaweed wrap....
that looks way too much fun to eat, but i love sushi anyways so i'll def eat it.
I'm craving sushi now.
ummm no food coloring is just gross
I avoid food coloring
Hey, it looks like someone made candy sushi in that photo ...
I love it. and def will try!
but like alot of you said, will it affect the great taste?
