I decided to bring donuts to the office today, which is located in New York; it's a few city blocks from
Krispy Kreme, a most heavenly purveyor of donuts. By no means would I eat them every day, but, every now and then, it makes for a delicious breakfast experience.
Though it wasn't intentional, I created somewhat of a psychological observation experiment. Those who sat near the box were hard-pressed to ignore it and its contents. The tension in their face said, "I really shouldn't eat this donut. But, man, Krispy Kremes are so good...how can I refuse?"
I know I couldn't refuse. Thus, I ate breakfast in two parts today: one before my commute and one sinfully good maple frosted donut when I got there.
What are your favorite donuts? Do you bring in food to tempt your co workers? Has your co workers done this?

I have never eaten a Krispy Kreme donut before, even though I been to New York last year I did not eat any donuts in America.
Ooh, I adore Krispy Kremes!! We were so sad when they closed the plant in Arizona! Now the closest ones are in El Paso, Texas! I'm with you, though, not an every day thing, but definitely an occasional indulgence!! YUM! Now I have to google and see where the Krispy Kreme stores are along my trip route!!

I love krispy kreme, the original glaze, they are best when you get them just after being made and they are still all warm ahh heaven. But some of the others ones are too sweet. I only eat donuts a few times a year since I wouldn't consider them all that healthy.
My mom is a teacher and because of older age and slowing metabolism cut out certain things like sugary soda, bad carbs, and a lot of sweet food so she hates when they bring donuts into the office because of her lack of willpower. So I do not think I would bring them to work, only to be considerate of my co-workers that are trying to eat healthier, and because I try to promote health but thats' just me.

I don't ever have a strong urge for one, like "OMG I HAVE TO GET ONE OR I WILL DIE", but every blue moon I'll have one.
I'm not a big fan of krispy kreme donuts but if there was a box Dunkin Dounts I'm sure that I would have a similar reaction. "They're so bad for you, but just so good. Just one donut wont hurt."
Everyone is allowed to indulge every now and again.
It's grease laden, fatty texture just screams out "EAT ME! EAT ME!"
krispy kreme is the best donut shop ever. i dont have strong cravings and i've only had it like once but it was really good. too sweet for my teeth though, thats probably why i dont have strong cravings. not big on sweets.
i was next to it. i resisted! high five for me. ooooh boy was it hard though.

I'm not sure that they even have Krispy Kreme in Canada, I've only ever had them once.
I live in Houston, all the Krispy Kremes here closed down. I don't remember why, though. o_O

They shut down all of the krispy kremes in minnesota, so no i do not get fresh donuts like that. :(
